Our Mission
Our purpose is to reach out beyond our active membership to love and serve others in the name of Jesus, in the hope that not only persons, but whole households, communities, organizations, and other institutions we touch will come under the saving lordship of Christ Jesus. We dedicate the worship, administration, education, fellowship, and nurture of Cook's UMC to this underlying purpose...We believe every disciple of Christ Jesus is called to a life of ministry in Christ's name. We seek to help each member grow in his/her life of ministry. To that end we expect every member of Cook's UMC to volunteer in a place of service in the common life and ministry of our church.
