Many people have visited Cook’s because of the appealing and inviting appearance of our facility. Once they attend, many people stay and become active members because of the inviting nature of our congregation.

It is my prayer and hope that this website offers some indication of the true nature of Cook’s as we seek to worship and serve God. The Cook’s congregation was born in the mid-19th century in response to the prayer of a circuit riding preacher who rested under a tree on what is now church property and asked that a church might be built here to glorify and serve God and bring people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
