CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
                          ANSWERING THE CALL

		From the early 1800’s when a Methodist Circuit Rider first prayed for
		the church on the hill where Cook’s UMC now stands, the people
		responded to God’s call.  With its humble beginnings in a small one room
		log cabin, Cook’s has grown to met the spiritual needs of generations
		of Christians.  To continue the tradition forged by the founders of Cook’s
		and the many generations of our congregation since, we are
		embarking on another expansion to fulfill Christ’s call to “…go
		therefore and make disciples…”.  A new sanctuary and Sunday School
		building is planned to meet the growing needs of our congregation
		and community.  Projected cost for new building is approximately $2 million to
		$2.2 million. Phase One of our Capital Campaign seeks to raise
		$1,300,000 over a three year period.
